For a true taste of Little Rock, take a thirty-minute tour followed by a tasting at Rock Town Distillery. The award-winning distillery is at the epicenter of Little Rock’s spirit-making endeavors. Located in downtown Little Rock, the artisan craft distillery carefully distills its spirits from wheat, corn, and rye supplied by Arkansas farmers. When I went to visit a factory, the garage door was broken by a car. And yes, it’s the first legal and largest distillery in Arkansas since prohibition. What does that even mean? Well, having been founded in 2010, it would mean that, for about seventy-seven years, no alcohol was produced in Arkansas. Distillery Tours and Events

The outside business at Rock Town Distillery barely communicates of the wonderful job being done inside the distillery. The distillery uses locally sourced corn, wheat, and rye in the creation of spirits. That’s what makes the whiskey and spirits made here special!

Rock Town Distillery runs tours that allow visitors to understand the distillation process of the different products. You also get to learn how the distillery transforms humble grain into gin, whiskey, vodka, rum, and bourbon through varied brewing techniques. When you enter the doors of the distillery, you’ll wait in an area where tours wait their turn as you interact with staff members around.

The steps and equipment used in the production of the different spirits, as well as specific trade nuances, are explained in detail during the tour. Be sure to ask as many questions as you can during the tour. Don’t forget to have fun too.

Private tours and tastings are offered for groups of all sizes, 7 days a week. Individuals can also host birthdays, reunions, wedding celebrations, charity events, bachelor, corporate events and other private parties at the distillery.

The Tasting Room

The tour takes about 30 to 45 minutes ($7). At the end of the tour, participants are allowed to taste all of Rock Town’s spirits. Note that participants have to be 21 years and older to sample the delicious hand-crafted cocktails in the tasting room. You’ll find some of the best cocktails in the city right here.
